  2. On either mobile or desktop, scroll to the very bottom of the page. You can switch the language there—no need to use Google Translate.

    (On desktop, you can also click the “文A” button in the top-right corner.)

  3. Tap the button in the center of the screen, or drag and drop your files into the green area to upload.

    You can upload up to 8 files per submission; total size must be within 15 MB. Supported formats include Microsoft Office files and jpg, jpeg, bmp, gif, png, txt, ini, and pdf.

    If you want to print in a 4×6 postcard style, please note:

    1. 4×6 photo printing supports images only (not Office documents or PDFs).
    2. Supported formats: JPG, BMP, GIF.

    Postcard format:

    1. Size: 10 cm × 14.8 cm
    2. Recommended image quality: at least 1028 × 960 px

  4. After uploading, scroll down and check the checkbox.

    The button “Enable ibon download access” controls whether other people can use an ibon machine to save and download your files. If it’s turned on, it means you allow others to do so.

  5. Keep scrolling down. You can either pre-select print settings first, or just upload directly.

    “Pre-select print specifications” means the file can only be printed in the specific format you choose, and the person printing won’t be able to change it. If you don’t set anything, the person printing can freely choose the print options.

    “Special paper” means thicker paper (higher paper weight).

  6. After uploading, you’ll receive a pickup/print code. The person printing can use this code to print your files.

    If you pre-set print options, there will also be an extra line called “Print specifications” below “File Deadline.”

Can’t access the website

If the ibon system runs into issues, users outside Taiwan may not be able to register. Below are a few solutions recommended by ibon’s official website.

First, check whether your IP address has been blocked. Try visiting the official ibon website: https://www.ibon.com.tw/#gsc.tab=0

If you see “403 Forbidden”, you won’t be able to register on the printing service website: https://print.ibon.com.tw/

Because ibon’s systems are connected, once the connection is blocked, the server won’t be able to send data to the cloud.

(By the way, this is a bit odd—sometimes https://print.ibon.com.tw/ might still open directly.)

The official website clearly lists three other registration methods, so you can use them with confidence. Official instructions: https://print.ibon.com.tw/procedure/2 *The full steps are explained on that page. You can switch languages using the method described in step 2 above.

(Since the OPEN POINT app method requires downloading the app—and the app may not be available overseas—it’s not covered here.)
